The streets of every village, town, and city are filled with dogs. Many of them have informal “owners”, folks that throw them a bone and make sure they get pat every day. Butt dogs in India are free to roam, lie in the sun or shade, and scavenge for their next meal. These 3 fat pups know the good life. There may be chaos around, honking horns, walking feet, speeding cars and trucks, but when it’s a dog’s it is lived with ease and purpose, finding pleasure in the ease and simplicity which with life can be lived.
